A game-resolution model of CV9030 made for the Finnish Defence Forces mod project for the popular FPS title 'Squad'. Modeled in Blender, textures done in Painter. Implementation in UE4 is on the way!

For this model I baked normals for most of the parts from a "fake highpoly" using the lowpoly with a bevel shader from Blender nightly build. Although using such a workflow is not a perfect substitute for a proper highpoly, it performed wonderfully for shapes such as the hull that only needed some rounded edges for better definition. And it works great with boolean operations, so for certain projects it could be a decent alternative to get a normal bake in no time. I will definitely keep experimenting with it!
